Browse our FAQ page for answers to everything you would like to know about what we do, what we charge, our process, and how everything works.

How long does the subscription last?
The subscription plan runs for a minimum of 12 months and continues on a month-to-month basis afterward. You can cancel anytime after the first year. Please note that if you cancel, access to the website is discontinued, as the plan is designed to provide ongoing support and services.
How am I protected from ownership rights issues?
Our #1 goal is to make sure our clients’ businesses are thriving online. It wouldn’t make sense for us to withhold any of your business assets as long as your part of the contract is fulfilled. We strive to make our process as seamless and transparent as possible to avoid confusion or concerns about ownership once the contract is complete. If you have any questions or concerns regarding ownership, our team is always available to walk you through everything and provide clarification.
How do you handle late payments?
Each invoice includes a 7 day grace period for payment. After 7 days, a $50 late fee will be applied. For subscription clients, if multiple monthly invoices remain unpaid over an extended period, we reserve the right to cancel the contract, with the client responsible for the full cost of the website. We strive to be flexible and understanding in most situations and often offer assistance, but if there is no communication or response, we must take necessary steps to protect our time, effort, and work.
What do you use to take payments and what payment methods do you accept?
Invoices are sent via email through Stripe, which provides a secure page for entering your payment information. Subscription plans are billed to a credit or debit card, and we accept all major cards. For one-time, lump-sum projects, payments are made via ACH bank transfer to minimize processing fees. Please note, we do not accept checks or money orders.
Are extra pages billed monthly or one time?
Additional pages are billed based on your preferred payment method. You can either pay a one-time fee of $750 per page, or add extra pages to your subscription at $10 per page per month. For example, if you add 3 pages to your subscription, that would increase your monthly cost by $30, for a total of $229/month. If you choose the one-time $750 per page option, that amount is paid upfront and your subscription remains at $199/month.
What happens if I cancel after the 12 month susbcription and want to come back?
Simple. Just sign a new 12 month contract!
Are there refunds?
When you sign a contract, whether lump sum or subscription, if we are unable to create a design that you are completely happy with and you choose not to move forward, we will refund any payments you’ve made to get started. Once we begin building the website, payments are non-refundable. Any refunds beyond that point are granted at our discretion.
Once I am done with the 12 month subscription plan, do I continue paying after that?
Yes, subscription plans continue indefinitely after the 12-month minimum. On average, it takes 2–3 years for the subscription revenue to match what we would earn from a lump-sum website. Ideally, clients stay with us for at least five years, making the long-term partnership financially viable for both parties. By that point, the website is typically generating more value than the monthly subscription cost, essentially paying for itself. We aim to provide ongoing value so our clients continue to see the benefit of our work and maintain their subscription.
Can I buy out of my subscription after my subscription minimum has passed?
No, there is no buyout option to stop the monthly subscription. As mentioned earlier, it typically takes 2–3 years, including hosting fees, for us to earn what we would from a lump-sum website. Subscriptions are designed to work best when clients stay for 5+ years, making the model financially viable for both parties. This approach also allows us to maintain consistent, reliable income without constantly needing to sell new sites. It lets us dedicate more time to our clients, providing hands-on support, updates, and attentive service. If clients were able to buy out of subscriptions regularly, we would need to replace that income with additional sales, which could compromise both our service quality and the effectiveness of the subscription model.
Do you offer edits and support?
Yes. All custom websites include a required hosting and management plan of $100 per month. This covers security, secure hosting, routine maintenance, and basic support to keep your website running properly. If additional support, updates, or ongoing management are needed beyond the standard scope, extended services can be arranged and will be evaluated based on the specific needs of your business. For subscription websites, support is already included in the monthly subscription, and limited edits can be arranged as needed. If more ongoing assistance is required, extended management plans are available starting at an additional $50/month on top of your existing subscription. Any extended management plans require a 12-month minimum commitment. These plans cannot be turned on and off month-to-month. If a plan is canceled and later reinstated, a new 12-month commitment will be required.
Whats the diffrence between one-sum and subscription?
The main difference comes down to short-term versus long-term cost. With the subscription plan, the total cost is spread out over time through smaller, more manageable monthly payments. A lump-sum project requires a larger upfront investment but typically costs less over the long term because the design and development are paid for at the beginning. When deciding which option is best, it largely depends on your cash flow and your short-term versus long-term goals. If you prefer a lower upfront cost and value the ongoing service that comes with it, the monthly subscription is a great option. If you would rather make a one-time investment and minimize long-term costs, the lump-sum option may be the better fit.
Is SEO part of your packages?
Yes and no. SEO is made up of two main parts: on-page SEO and off-page SEO. On-page SEO includes everything on your website such as content, page speed, accessibility, site structure, and how pages are organized. Off-page SEO includes work done outside your website like link building, guest posting, citations, and other signals that help search engines trust and rank your site. Our website packages include several important on-page SEO foundations, such as fast load times, proper page structure, meta tags, Google Search Console setup, sitemap generation, accessibility improvements, and some content development. However, effective SEO goes far beyond the initial setup. It is an ongoing process that requires consistent work over time. For businesses that want to actively improve their rankings and compete in search results, we offer professional SEO services as a separate ongoing service. If you’re interested, we can go over available plans and pricing.
Do you offer ecommerce sites under the subscription plan?
No, we do not offer e-commerce websites under the subscription plan. E-commerce sites require significantly more time, setup, and ongoing configuration than a standard business website. Because of the additional complexity and costs involved, they cannot be offered under the monthly subscription model. If you need an e-commerce website, we offer custom pricing based on the scope of the project and the specific features your business requires.
If I cancel my subscription do I keep my domain?
Yes, you always own your domain, we never take hostages!
What are your rates for SEO?
Our SEO services are priced based on the scope of work required for each project. The more aggressive and comprehensive the strategy, the more time and resources are involved. Our base SEO packages typically start at $700 per month and scale from there depending on the level of work needed to achieve your goals..
Does SEO actually work?
Yes, it does! While it may sound biased coming from us, good SEO absolutely works, especially in competitive markets where businesses are competing for visibility on the first page of search results. Many of the companies ranking at the top have large websites, hundreds of backlinks, and are targeting dozens or even hundreds of keywords across multiple locations. SEO is not a switch you flip and see results overnight. It’s a long-term strategy and investment that builds authority and visibility over time. In most cases, it can take 6–12 months to begin seeing meaningful results, but the long-term benefits can be substantial for businesses that stay consistent with it.
Can you get me to the top of Google in a month?
Nope! Unless your site is featured in major publications like the New York Times, it’s unrealistic to expect to reach the top of search results in just a month. You’ll often get calls from companies claiming they can guarantee a #1 ranking in 2–3 months—these promises are not realistic. Ranking depends on many factors, including competition in your market and how Google evaluates your site. Smaller markets may see faster results, but even if we follow best practices perfectly, Google ultimately controls how quickly your site will rank. We have plenty of case studies from current clients showing how long it took them to start ranking high and achieve strong results, and we’re happy to share those examples.
What do you do for SEO exactly?
Our SEO team has a strong background in copywriting, which ensures every page we create delivers real value instead of relying on SEO tricks. Well-crafted content is essential as Google’s algorithms become smarter, and they take a hands-on approach by writing all website copy themselves, blending SEO knowledge with effective writing to engage both search engines and visitors. In short, content is the core of SEO. Your website should answer the questions your potential clients have, positioning you as an expert while signaling authority to Google. With extensive experience developing successful content strategies across industries, our SEO team can create the same results for your business.
Do you also run Google PPC ads?
Yes! Google Ads complement our SEO strategies perfectly, providing a way to generate leads quickly while SEO builds long-term results. Our SEO and advertising expert has extensive experience managing campaigns for small businesses, large companies, and even Fortune 500 clients spending millions annually, ensuring your ad budget is used effectively.
Do you offer SEO audits?
Yes! Our SEO team, uses a variety of tools to identify every potential issue and opportunity for improvement on your website. Some issues may be small and easy to fix, while others may require more extensive work. A thorough SEO audit is always the first step in any campaign, because even the best content and backlinks won’t perform if your site has fundamental development or code issues. Identifying and resolving these problems early ensures that every part of your website is running smoothly and fully optimized for SEO.
How long does SEO take to see its effects?
SEO is a long-term strategy and investment, and its results aren’t immediate. Typically, it takes 6–12 months to see meaningful benefits from our campaigns, though some improvements can happen sooner. SEO isn’t an overnight success, it requires consistent effort over time. Established competitors may have websites that have been online for 10+ years, building trust and authority with Google. New sites need to gradually establish credibility, so we focus on building your site’s authority over time to eventually compete for those top rankings.
How long does the process take from start to finish?
We typically complete a website within 2–4 weeks, depending on how quickly clients provide content and images, as well as our designers’ and developers’ availability. In some cases, projects finish in 2 weeks; others may take closer to 3–4 weeks.
Do I keep my site if I cancel my subscription?
No, otherwise everyone would do that, and we wouldn’t be able to stay in business! You do, however, keep your domain and any assets associated with your site.
Do I own my domain?
Yes! We don’t hold your domain hostage. Even if we purchased the domain on your behalf, it will be fully transferred to you if you cancel your subscription.
Do you custom code the websites?
Everything we make is built with custom hand written code. That is what separates us from the others. We put the time and effort to do things differently and it shows in our work and our clients online presence after launch.
Why are custom coded websites better?
Custom-coded websites offer better security, faster load times and greater flexibility. Our sites have minimal bloat and are easier to customize and more responsive, giving you a smoother, faster user experience.
